TAPS (GOD IS NIGH) is based on the public domain melody and lyrics of TAPS (authors unknown), the traditional bugle piece played at military funerals.
Original lyrics, melody, and recording were cowritten and coproduced by Jimmy Weber and Dave Brainard (both veterans) in honor of the service members who paid the ultimate price and their families.
